FareFlow CompareFareFlow Compare: Privacy Policy
What the extension does
FareFlow Compare opens the flight search pages of MakeMyTrip, Cleartrip, EaseMyTrip and Yatra in your browser and reads the fares, offers and baggage details shown on those pages, so you can compare them in one place. It does not book tickets, and it does not read your logins, passwords, card numbers or booking details on those sites.
Information stored on your device
The following is saved only in your browser's local extension storage:
- Your recent searches (airports, dates, travellers, cabin)
- Fares you choose to save or watch
- The bank cards you tell us you hold (bank names only, never card numbers) and your other settings
- Feedback and help requests you submit (a copy is kept on your device)
This information is not sent to us or to anyone else. You can delete it at any time by removing the extension or clearing the extension's data in Chrome.
Information you choose to send us
If you use Talk to a person or Feedback, the details you type (such as your name, phone number, email address, trip details and message) are sent to us only when you press send. The extension prepares a WhatsApp message or an email, and you send it yourself. We use these details only to reply to you and to provide the help you asked for. Some help services, such as visa advice, may be chargeable, and we tell you the fee before starting.
Please do not include card numbers, CVV codes, OTPs, passwords or passport numbers in these messages.
Permissions the extension uses
- Storage: to keep your searches, saved fares and settings on your device.
- Alarms: to run the optional price watch, which rechecks one flight you chose every 3 hours for up to 48 hours.
- Notifications: to tell you when a watched fare drops.
- Access to the four airline booking sites: to open their flight search pages and read the fares shown. The extension does not access any other site.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties.
- We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or for anything unrelated to comparing flight fares.
- We do not use your data to decide creditworthiness or for lending.
- We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising scripts in the extension, and we do not load code from outside the extension.
Third-party sites
When you open MakeMyTrip, Cleartrip, EaseMyTrip or Yatra, you are using their websites, and their own privacy policies apply. FareFlow Compare is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. Fares shown are read from their pages and can change before you book.
This website: special fare requests
If you send a special fare request on this website, we receive what you type (such as your name, phone number or email, and your message). The forms are delivered to us by email through a form service. We use your details only to reply to you and to prepare the quote you asked for. We never publish your details.
Affiliate links and commissions
The FareFlow Compare extension itself contains no affiliate links, and its fare comparison is not influenced by any commission. On our website, some links to travel and other partner services may be affiliate links. If you book or buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not change the price you pay.
Children
The extension is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
